I was born in Portland, we lived there until I was 5 when we moved to Milwaukie where I lived until my early 20's. I now live in Oregon City with my best friend Ranger. Oregon has and always will be home. When I was getting into the work force in my teens, like many, I really had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, construction was not even on my radar. After pursuing other interests I found myself with a laborer position at a local plumbing company in 2011. That is when I got my first taste of the plumbing trade, I fell in love with the industry, people, and the comradery almost immediately. From there I got into the apprenticeship program and worked my way up to Foreman and eventually Division Manager until deciding to start Stumptown Plumbing in 2022. Throughout my years in the industry I have established a reputation of honesty and integrity that has carried through to Stumptown Plumbing and all of its employees. This reputation is one of the things I am most proud of in my life.
When I'm not busy with the company I enjoy adventuring with Ranger, camping at the dunes, working on one of my many hobbies, and spending time with family and friends. I like to stay busy, just ask anyone that knows me.
I was born and raised in a small town near Kansas City Missouri. My wife, Shinobu, and I were married and moved to Gresham Oregon in August of 1990. We now have 2 sons, Nicholas & Micah, and one dog, Meiji (named after my favorite chocolate). My first career was in Church music. I spent 13 years as Pastor of Worship at a local church in Gresham. I made a change and entered the crazy world of construction in 2004. I worked for a local plumbing company for the better part of 14 years. Starting as a delivery driver then warehouse manager and made my way into purchasing and project management. I learned most aspects of Residential new construction plumbing. I then had the opportunity to work for a mechanical company and learned the ropes of Multi-family new construction plumbing. I had the privilege to come on board with Stumptown Plumbing in February of 2023. I love being part of a company driven by integrity and doing business right! I feel fortunate to work with such a great leadership team, quality crews in the field and am excited to contribute to building something unique with this Stumptown Family.Â
In my free time and weekends, I enjoy working out, hiking with my wife and dog, trips to the coast and watching quirky Japanese TV shows. And if I'm not fixing something in my house, I also attempt to get better at playing guitar and writing music.
Ranger likes to unwind from a long week at the office by chasing squirrels or sun bathing. When he can find the time he loves a good adventure or camping trip. Probably his favorite past time is getting fur on absolutely everything he comes into contact with.
